Was over to the UK last Friday to do some shopping.

First stop was at SC to drop off two engines, my 998 and Thimo's 998. John took the time to show me around, was good fun, thanks man, I'll see you again in a few months!

Next stop was Minispares to buy some parts, but then over to Matty's place to pick up the Nippon alternator and off course take a look at his wheels.

"Fancy a drive" is the last thing I can remember....
I got in, noticed that there was no front cage, buckled myself up in the harness...
"Have to warm it up first" Matty said...

Once that was done all hell broke loose. That thing is fooking fast mate! Now I understand why you raised the gearlever close to the steeringwheel, the torgue-steer is so massive you definetely want to keep both hands on the wheels as much as possible!

My freaking god what an experience, amazed that you still think it lacks power *surprised*

Anyway, thanks for the drive man, you got me inspired!

Haha no problem, glad you enjoyed it! It gave me a good excuse to take it out before the winter stripdown. :)

It was a shame I couldn't wind the boost up, as it was a nice dry day. I'll get the fueling sorted then take you out on full boost next time you're over. *hehe!*

I reckon I can scrape some pennies together for MITP now. Although I can't bring the car, I can bring the ECU and my laptop?

I tried uploading the .79 version to have a look at it, but couldn't get it to work, or the .73 version either?
