right so i find myself needing to get a disclosure check for a college course im doing through work.
so i try to phone the college support assistant but she aint answering, leave a message and aint heard anything after a week.
so today i set out to get it all sorted at the start of my holidays so its out the way and forgotten about.
well all i can say is that there the most useless fucking twats ive ever spoken to!
nobody knew what level of disclosure i needed the learning support women was on holiday. so after about 20 phone calls after being redirected everywhere possible i find out its either a standard or enhanced. Sorted
or so i thought at least.... so i sit there and fill in the form the usual questions then i get to the back page i need someone who is registered to coutersign it. theres no reference of what a registered person is or who you have to be registered with.
so i call up disclosure scotland and they say you will have to get your employer to sign it and he needs to be registered with disclosure scotland..
right so i call up the bossd explain the situation. he has never heard of disclosure scotland... bollocks
so i phone disclosure scotland back and they explain that as my boss isnt registered ill have to ask the college what the score is.
ive just got off the phone to the college again it took several attempts but i finally got talking to someone (its one of them wait in line systems and if you dont get seen after 2 mins they cut you off) by now im really getting annoyed as ive spent the last few hours phoning various places.
so anyway the person i speak to tells me i have to talk to this learning support person, i kindly tell her that she is on holiday and ive spoke to several other people but i need someone to countersign it as im going on hoiliday this week.
ok ok youll have to phone in on monday when support women is back from holiday and arrange for her to sign it. ah nice we're getting somewhere.
ill just send it in ive got her address here. oh no but wait ive to bring it in myself in person!
im fecking raging about this. and my boss is refusing to pay for any of it its £20 from dundee to edinburgh and another 25 for the disclosure not to mention the 40 for the hep b test last week ( just to clarify ive not got hep b the test was negative) not that the doc though i would have it.. ho hum im stressed tae fuck
