cos i`ve just made and arse of spraying the inside of my car ....... i can paint i know i can , well i think i can .The gun was spitting like mad so i thought ... paints too thick so i thinned it a bit more and it went like pee and ran like hell ..... tomorrow i will be mainly rubbing the whole lot back again . I love painting cars................... NOT .

I presume your using an air suction or gravity feed gun of some kind as you said your mixing paint.
I was told once only to spay when temperature are between 10 and 20 deg C. I wouldn't thin the paint any more than the recommendations from the manufacture. weighing the quantises is most accurate.
Might be worth making the first coat a quick coving not aiming to get a solid film of paint down. This way the thinners in the paint bleed into the under lying paint and help prevent the next coat from running.
