does anyone know of any special things to be aware of when putting a RHD metro turbo engine into a LHD mini??

also, is it ok to use the fuel tank from a 1992 carburetted cooper with the turbo engine?

no idea on the LHD stuff, but if you're using a carbed cars fuel tank then you'll need to braze a return onto the top of the tank and enlarge the feed pipe aswell dude.

Thanks for that one, would it be less hassle to get an SPI or MPI fuel tank?

yeah i'd go for the injection fuel tank, all you gotta do then is wire up the fuel pump on it.

Forgotten more than most ever know

Basically you need a LHD drive turbo engine ... just kidding, they are the same. The main thing to note is that you cannot use the bulkhead boxes available. They are too wide and effectively remove the location of the brake master cylinder. There are some pics at my site showing the box, see www.geocities.com/jharkola. If you need more just ask.
