I've bought a megajolt set up second hand and it has come with a trigger wheel that is identical to this one: http://trigger-wheels.com/store/contents/media/65ring.jpg

I'd also heard that becuase the section of pulley that the rubber supports is always moving during use it would cause the trigger wheel to move and cause scatter of upto 2 degrees. Can anyone shed some light on this? There is some movement as you say but it's considerably less than 2 degrees. Given the size of the pulley and the thinness off the rubber you can do some pretty quick hand waving maths which give you about 1/2 a degree of scatter before the rubber reaches it's limit. As MJ is only accurate to a degree, it doesn't really matter. If you don't trust my fag packet maths you may be relieved to know that many people myself included are successfully running MJ's using a trigger wheel cut into the outside of the damper.
