You can weld up the valve in the standard one. Just takes a little longer to build oil pressure. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

No - there is a pressure relief valve but it does not affect oil pressure build up. If the oil pressure is too high it will open and thereby bypass the filter. |

I believe its more for when the oil filter is blocked up. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

you can weld it or tap it and put a bung in, iirc 5/8 unf works.
