It must take years of training to write like that LOL. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

I like the way people on this forum try to keep up standards (not always succesfully) but when I tried to do the same on another forum I got slaughtered - " must not discourage people" "not everyone has had a university education" etc etc etc.

you don't need a university education to write correctly - primary school maybe

Apparently so. |

Apparently so. Sadly, it seems schools dont teach spelling or literacy anymore. Ive a spanish friend...and fair enough she's heavily into English based studies, but her writing is far better than virtually enything Ive seen on a public forum. Some say give them a break...I say fuck off. It isnt difficult to take a minute to read over what you have just typed before posting. If it makes sense after that either its good, or you need help. Most tech's offer free English literacy courses now I think for adults. Why is it important ? Firstly, to stop you looking like a retard every time you post. Also because this is the internet. It goes out all over the world. Wont you feel like a right cock, when foreigners read this, and see how native English speakers cant even write or spell properly. Is it a any wonder so many are able to get jobs here !!!! Clearly they are more qualified in some areas...embarassing if one is in written English. Then the search function. Try searching when all the dimwits spell everything wrong. Just doesnt work. Not that many people seem to use the search function on a lot of forums anyway. And yes, I know I havent punctuated everything properly. As far as searching goes...thats not a big deal. Spelling at least is. Clearly the mechanic used in this instance.....well, is he at fault ?? Maybe not. What does a mechanic do ? Nowadays most remove parts and refit them, often wrong. So he's probably just doing what he normally does. So its partly your own fault for taking such a project to a dummy. And just thinking take it a rolling road wont work either. You need to take it to someone competent with turbo builds, and competent with carburettors...the SU in particular. In fact, they really need to have some experience with teh turbo A-series, or it could end up a fuck up again, as clearly the OP hasnt a notion. 9.85 @ 145mph

Don't let the experience put you off Sam. And dont trust everyone with your car.
Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
