Be a bit of a pain in the arse really. Got to get the flywheel off. So if you have inner guards itd be a tight squeeze for a puller. In boost we trust |

To be honest, its probably going to be less hassle to just dig out the hoist and pull the engine. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

If you cant get the hoist out, 2 strong lads can lift it out manually
I seriously doubt it! |

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

I've lifted many engines out of minis when I used to work at a mini centre and "doom" them, with a decent length of scaff bar and the guy I worked with we just used to rope the bar to the engine then shoulder it and hoik them out.

When I worked in the trade we often dropped complete subframe with the engine and then lifted the engine/trans out.Two people can easily lift the body away and prop it up on a couple of oil drums.Plenty of access then ! |

Evidently taking engines out when your stood on ice is much more difficult than concrete On 12th Aug, 2009 Vegard said: On 12th Aug, 2009 paul wiginton said:
