hi bit odd really but i have just been asked if i can connect up a mates weber 40 on his mini, foolishly i said yes but upson seeing te carb im a bit confused (sorry to sound thick but i have never rigged up one) so does anybody have any close up pictures of a connected weber? please post em here if you do, many thanks Currently building the new engine - 1312 t25 a series! |

well, heres mine just without the throttle cable or fuel pipe fitted.

ah right so from what i can see my mate just needs a bracket for the throttle but it seems a tad weird because i cant seem to see how and if a throttle return spring had to be fitted, dam webers lol Currently building the new engine - 1312 t25 a series! |

oh yeah, thats a 45. But I'm not sure if it makes a difference. My return springs attatched to the rocker cover. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

The cable bracket normaly as a return spring or two fitted to it. If that helps. I dont have any pics of mine when it was fitted sorry |

with those ones i ran a spring from the throttle leaver to the inlet trumpet thingy and that acted as a return spring
