i HAVE A METRO TURBO FUEL PUMP AND REGULATOR (EVEN TRYED MY SPARE REG) AND THE LOWEST i GET DOWN TO IS 7.5 PSI. MY FUEL PRESURE GAGE ONLY GOES TO 15PSI AND WHEN i TURN IT UP IT NEARLY SNAPS THE NEDDLE ON THE GAUGE i WOULD SAY IT WELL IN TO THE 30PSI

ho big is your return line & is it unrestricted? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Yes the return is unristricted and the out side of the pie mesures 6mm I have 2 returns one from the regulator and the other from the carb. http://s256.photobucket.com/albums/hh167/boz-reb-2303/

Im taking the boost signal from the feed from the regulator to the carb, but i get the same reading if I take it from before the regulator. the fuel presure gauge is a mac one and its in good working order. http://s256.photobucket.com/albums/hh167/boz-reb-2303/

so your tank return is 6mm outside diameter? So about 4mm internal. That's a tad small! Try 8mm internal diameter. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

It doesn't quite make sense - the regulator should return the excess fuel to the tank and the carb just get the 3-4psi - what do you mean by return from the carb ??? Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |
