Because its lengthy, painfull, you find yourself on your back for most of the performance and you tend to bleed a lot. The only difference with child birth is no one tells you you've failed and makes you do it all over again... On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

So this morning I had no electrics other than side and tail lights, now it all works... except the side and tail lights. D day is looming and to top it all off I have to flatbed the car to the MOT station and my insurance won't cover me until I have an MOT. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

The company that I want to take a policy out with says that the car has to be in roadworth condition (i.e. with an MOT) before they will agree to insure me. It's awkward but I am getting the flatbed at mates rates and the fueling is not set up so I don't want tp drive it anyway. But yeah it is daft. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

Highway insurance, sadly very few companies will offer me a quote at all. Todays developments include more struggles with a 30 year old wiring loom and an engine that won't idle on anything other than supper rich (even though it was running fine the other day). I think I may be canceling my MOT appointment! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:
