Hi.. Just signed up, was given the link by a 16v mate ( ex turbo 1330 Vmaxer who wanted more power )

I've had my Turbo min for err.. lottsa years. but it's been sat in a sorry state ( bare rolling shell with glass in it ) after a disasterous Drive-By-Respray.
Sat in my shed is a motor and box.. longing for the day when I plant it back in it's polished alloy lined engine bay
then mate it up to two rather nice intercoolers and a regular Garrett T3.... Hmm or was it a KKK? cant remember , it's been so long since I last looked!

I honestly meant to build a decent turbo site giving hints and tips, plus a full photo rebuild of my beloved mincer.... but. the wheels of industry ground to a halt at least 5 years ago... boo hoo...

for a LONG time...... and done nothing with them. ( what a shame! ) ok ok... so I've sort of temp used minimini, and mini-tubo for my CB500 pix, and miniturbo.net for some other bike stuff... but... oh well, why not! I had them just sitting there! thought I'd make SOE use of them........ heh heh heh heh talk about unrelated websites eh! terrible...... maybe I should put some MINI links in there?

Still...... I could always sell the URL's eh....

Thought for about two seconds of getting folk to send uz a quid so I could get me mini finished... then thought nah..... thats a whole POUND! who on earth would waste a pound!?????

I could say you where buying a ride in my car when it's done. but that'd be an awful lotta folk to blip around town!

Ah well, maybe one day I'll win some cash then I really WILL be Filthy Rich!

Heh Heh Heh nope. not just yet..... not far off it though ay !

Poor bugger.... sat there with it's tyres s l o w l y defalting.... awe.. they've not had a squirt of air in 4 years... boo hoo...

I do keep the nasty mouldy stuff away though... it gets a wash maybe twice a year

Round about that time... i check over the bodywork... yup still there.... .. that crack in the roofpaint is coming along nicely.... I think it must be a whole 2" across now... Mmmmm with a healthy ammount of water in there.... lovely.... ( I would'nt want to lift the paint to dry it out now would I !! )

Well.... if it gets MUCH worse... I might... seing as the roof will need painting again anyways. I could get the paint off that patch and temp redo it just to keep the rustwork out.

Well........... winter must be here... My roofs got it's wintery bumps back, and there small bubles appearing along the bottoms of the doors..... ( the stuff I painted is still mint as the day it was done it's just that Cowboys work thats suffering )

If I go out the front door one day and see the poor wee thing sitting on it's floorpan.... I'll know I've left it a bit late.

It's a catch 22 situation.... the longer i leave it... the dearer it's gonna be to put it back together into one mass, but I"M SKINT!!!!! so time ticks on by...... shame innit.

Bikes are fun...... gives you a rush...
Glad I found something quicker than my mini! ( well a tree gowing is faster than my mini.. )

so if anyone's got about 3 grand spare..... heh heh heh heh heh

Rich, the solution is quite simple.

1. Go to your shed.
2. Open the door.
3. Take out all the tons of mini/engine bits
4. PUT THEM ON YOUR BLOODY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi ive just joind aswell but ive not got a turbo mini well me and ma grandad are hopefully doin one soon anyway. u shud get it runiin man u dont need 3 grand u just need some time and effort if youve got that then u will hav asortd mini.
