Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Ive just been having a read on the net. looks a good unit. looks to rely on a std diff pin arrangement though. would the std mini diff take the power with it in? im assuming it wouldnt be possible to use with a 4 pin diff by the looks of the installation guide.
Just some thoughts, defo worth looking into though!

i'm sure i read somewhere that irt was not a good thing and was best avoided, something to do with the way it operates causing massive wear to the diff in a short space of time.

bit of a dig here but,

Has anyone else had any experience with these,

A friend in the Auto grass world has been using one this year and seems to think it is getting the power down better than his old Quaffe. His only complaint is that it is rather hard on the Sun wheels, but he is still on his first set and has only had to replace the trusts once.

A few of the Pulsar GTIR boys had them and rated them loads for an upgrade to a front diff!!

Whats the worse thats gonna happen if it wears a standard diff... You replace it with a standard diff or buy a decent one.

Worth a try i reckon.

Lightweight racer coming soon.

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

I remember back in the day these were quite anticipated on the only minispares/minimania message board.

Then quite a few people got them and im pretty sure the general consensus was that they were pretty rubbish with a few failures.
I think everybody then removed them

Ran one of these for about 3 years in the Midget.Twice had the roll pin holding the cross shaft break, trashing the diff.as it went.Decided the way this lsd works was causing the problem and dumped it.
