hey guys and gals, i was told NOT to turbo my mini by some person yesterday because its hard to control and a bit dodgy when cornering because the turbo kicks in at 4 thousand revs... now dont think i'm chikening out i find that attracting me more. can anybody find any sense in what he was saying???? also is there any way to control when the turbo kicks in or is it all down to pressure?? depends a lot on the engine spec, power, gearing and diff choice, and set-up generally how a car is going to handle.

This mini seems to be OK round corners. Don't always listen to advice

Sounds like the person who told you was lacking in knowledge of turbo powered engines.

The T2 on mine spools nicely from just under 2000rpm and should hopefully still be efficient up to 18psi. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:
