Selling up after being in the mini scene for 15 years, Jeez where has the time gone? Over the past few years I have got into old Vee Dubs and now I'm after a Camper. Its not been an easy decision but this is the reason I'm selling up.


1st Mini.
1990 Henley blue. Originally took it off the road in mind to rebuild it back to former glory. It needs a front end, bottom of rear 1/4s, a rear valance and a Passenger door and the sills replaced. The engine is currently stripped and ready to lift out as I have a new one to be built using some bits off this engine (new engine still needs building). The chrome work is all in good condition and taken off the car.

Old engine (which is still in the mini) consists of a Mg 1275 bottom end, Spamspeed fast road head, 276 Kent cam, Lightened and balanced flywheel, Maniflow manifold, K+N, S/Steel Play Mini exhaust system and produced 83bhp on the r/road.

Second mini
1981 mini 1000, Vermilion orange, standard and unmodified.
Pretty damn good, (solid in all the right places if you know what I mean) but does need a bit for Mot, welding on sill, corner of boot and replace rear sub frame (which I have).
If you wanted one for the shows it needs an off side wing, front panel rear valance and sills. I Parked this up on the drive last year and chucked the cover over it, it was running fine then but I have not started it in a while. I will put the battery on charge and try it tomorrow.

My plan was to break the blue one and use most of the parts on the orange mini. I have a set of 12”cooper alloys that would clear the brakes (10” wheels will not) and are slim enough to use the mini on the road with no arches.

Are the Protechs the lowered kind? How many miles do they have on them?

If they are lowered, I would like them please.

If you will split the engine, I wouldn't mind the flywheel either.

Looking for £400ono for the Vermillion mini

Dash without the clocks you can have for £70

The Protechs are the lowered ones and have about 3000 miles on them. Have them for £90

The roller rockers, push rods and cam followers ( new, un opened) you can have for £150

Recaros are sold pending payment.

Am looking for just the front Protechs if possible - I already have a rear set. . .
any idea how much for the flywheel? :)
