very neat. I was trying to work out how you managed to put the intercooling pipe-work wher you did.... Then I realised it's left hand drive... Durr

Hello,
Yes, the plenum is home made. The three holes to the carburetor are missing at this picture:

For the airfilter i can't find a other place. The filter is too big. *frown*

Gregor, i have a photo of your yellow Mini at my homepage:

Have a nice day!

Bad holidays. *frown* Cylinder head gasket was gone at the side of the clutch:

And i dont know why. The temperature was OK. Maybe wrong ingnition, or the cylinderhead-nuts were not enough screwed on, or...
I think it was pinking (or knocking or however this is called in english).
The new year starts perfect! *oh well*
Enough work. It seem's like a never ending story...

pinking will make a head gasket go..

what type of head gasket was it?

Payen BK450 (the black sticky one)?

No, it was an other gasket. Now i will take the BK450 and an other head that makes lower compression. Maybe the boost was to much with the standard head...

greypride,
The dimensions are 25x18x6cm (only the cooling web - without plastic connections). The external diameter of the connections are 54mm. I reduced to 48mm pipes...
