You can't go wrong as all the main attractions are fairly close to each other and within walking distance. If you start at central park you can walk down to times square, then empire state/central station then onto ground zero (just don't take lots of photos and gawk there like we did as they get upset!) then catch the ferry to Ellis or libert island. We did that in one day which was tight so for you it's easy. But as someone has said women stick to the shop windows and slow you down! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

My girlfriends dad lives in New Jersey about 40 miles away so I've been a few times now, obviously there is loads to see, I'd also agree that the Empire State is a must, as above there are lots of other places to go, Chinatown and Little Italy are also worth a look round and a coffee in one of the Italian cafes, also make sure you go out for breakfast at least once as this is great. Wall Street and the NY stock exchange are also well worth a walk past. The south street seaport is also worth a look.

We did something similar when we went Tel, parked the car in Jersey City then caught the water taxi across to downtown/financial centre.

I need to turn my computer off before going out. Without sounding snobby, I have the money to treat her, so why not? And I'm fed up of staying in the UK, doing the same shit every year!
