i'm after the pipe that fits onto the turbo ready to pipe up to the intercooler. i call it an outlet pipe but that might not be its real name :S will also need a gasket for it (if is needs one)

also, i have my turbo and my eblow but no gasket or bots/studs & nuts to fit the two together so im after those too.

can anyone help?

they're bolts that hold on the elbow and M8 thread iirc so go to your local fastners place with the lengths you need. as for the gasket the only place i ever got them was in a payen DK451 full head gasket set for 25 notes.

I might have a couple, not sure which ones, but I bought a head gasket set for a metro turbo, so whichever ones you get in there I've got. I dont need them as I'm using a T2.

I'll check tomorrow which ones I've got! *happy*

cheers guys, i've got a mate who made the below for his car out of exhaust gasket "paper", obviously not paper but the metal stuff. so if mr 1293 sprite cant help I might go that route.

do the bolts need to be anything special considering the heat thats going to be involved? not sure a pack of M8's from a DIY store will cut it?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

i use red hylomar, its called 310 and we use it on all the turbine casings.

its worked perfectly on that join, better than exhaust paste.

I only have one (which I need) but if it's any help tracking one down, it's still in its original bag with a Rover/Unipart label.

The number is GUG 705925 GM

So it may be worth giving Unipart a ring to see if they still stock them.

Under that label is an even older one with the previous part number,

CAM 6677 B (the B may be an R, it's hard to read through the second label...)

I too have the same problem with bolts, ie, I haven't got them !!!
They are M8 but all different lengths.
They should really be a high strength creep resistant alloy steel for that duty but I will probably end up using stainless studding - stainless is fine with the temperatures but, for the grade that studding will come in (most likely A2), it isn't particularly strong.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Rod, your a diamond, as soon as I read CAM6677 a light bulb came on, I knew I'd seen it somewhere before:

http://www.avonbar.com/prodMain.aspx?range...Id=227&makeId=0

at least i now know thats the right part, avonbar need some piccys!

now to work on the bolts, as you say their all different, i'll see what i can find in the way of studding.

These are the sizes I have measured but I may have been to precise so you can get away with slightly smaller.

20mm
65mm (60mm)
85mm (80mm)
