This page on guess works site lets you enter most of the variables that Ben mentions and will plot graphs of rev's and speed etc for given diff's

thats pretty good, says 107 tops at 6500 rpm for my car and i see 108 at 6800 on the sat nav Crystal Sound Audio said:

i had my 998 up to 60 in first before when i was learning on private land and didnt no how to change gear.... anyway i have the RR print out for the engine bought from last owner now and its 167bhp |

I have to say that I have been in a mini (as a youth) displaying 60mph in first gear, and yes we were driving. It was a bog standard 998 on 10"s with a 3.1 diff and a 'super' accurate centre speedo. It was not the quickest or cleverest way to 60 (if it was 60, which it clearly wasn't), but it was a laugh. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk
