Picked one of these up today for £6

Apparently they are equivalent to the Payen BK450.

It certainly looks like one.

Has anyone tried one in the past? I think we are going to give it a go on the van when the turbo goes on.

Herefordshire

Is it me, or does that name remind you of a counterfeit copy?

I hope its not like my dads Calwin Klein belt that he bought in Turkey...

It popped under the strain 5 hours after buying it

Dunno, my dodgey gasket is still going strong, even after hammering it with anpther 40hp of nitrous nearly all day at the Pod. That will be at least 2500miles on it so far

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

Update on this. Van's engine is running with this gasket. Once on the road we will have to see how much boost and how long it stands up to it for!
