Just bought a wolesely hornet thats been sat for 11years When i looked through the receipts i found this And receipts from minisport!Is this a good spec for a turbo engine? I know i'll have to modify the head as its a stage two and what do you think of the cam? According to the sevice history the engine was put in in 1990 and the car was taken off the road in 92 and had done less than 1000mile

Do you think an intercooler behind the grill would be a good idea????

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Definately needs a lower CR.

might need to change the cam with it being a 270 (dependning what you are planning to use the car for). Potentaly the pistions as well as the cylinder head you mentioned

If the engine is good I would be tempted to sell it on as a good s/h unit and start again with the correct turbo stuff.

surely thats a better engine to startwith than a metro turbo engine???????? I would thought head and cam at the most. Is it a bad idea to use hepolite pistons? "What's with the bucket of piss?" Dump blonde mixing petrol & deisel then wonders why her car dont start!!!!! Makes good parts washer!!!!!!

Camshaft should be fine, can't see any reason why you couldn't use this ?
