hi chaps

could anyone tell me what size tread is on the water sensor that comes with the TIM water temp gauge, as i making a boss to house the sensor and im unsure what to tap it to.

looks like 1/8bsp but tried screwing it into a fitting and does not like it.

The catalogue says 1/8 NPT for the Electrical gauge, and I know the mechanical gauge is 5/8unf same as the standard mini temp sender
