Hello all, I need a special tool. I'm replacing my clutch, and I need the tool that takes the primary gear off so that I can replace the oil seal behind it. No more clutch contamination! Yay.

yep,

you can get a purchase where the splines start, the clutch dosent go that far up the splines anyway.

just be carful not to scratch the surface where the seal runs, bu that should be protected by the seal anyway,

Note I've note tried this:

I believe it's possible to remove the oil seal by screwing a self tapping screw into it and then pulling the seal out with a claw hammer.

As I said I've not tried this, I've always removed the drop gear housing when I've done the oil seal.

EDIT: I used live with a special tool but I don't think he'd be very got a replacing an oil seal.
