I thought it would be good to have a list of peoples recommended technical books in one place.

I was thinking about a list split up into the following sections:

Engine:
David Vizzard - Tuning the A-Series (yellow Bible)
Corky Bell - Maximum Boost
A. Graham Bell - Forced Induction Performance Tuning
Des Hammill - How to Blueprint and Build a 4-Cylinder Engine Short Block for High Performance.

Drivetrain:
TM Search Button

Chassis/Suspension:
Allan Staniforth - Race and Rally Car Source Book

Aerodynamics/Body:

General:
Bosch - Automotive Handbook

TM specials:
Karma Sutra

I for one am particularly interested in what people recommend for the Chassis/Suspension one as i'm soon to be doing alot of suspension work and i would like to read through a good tech book before i dive in.

LOL

tbh corky bels max boost is a bit pants,

alexander bells forced induction tuning book is better (thet joey links).

for the mini theres sod all on transmisions, this forum is far far superior.

staniforths race and rally resource book is worth a look for suspension, and has some other good stuff too.

What is pants about the Corky bell book? is it just abit basic? Good for begginers just to detailed enough if you already know a reasonable amount?

I'll update the listage.

just a bit out dated really, still has some good info, certainly worth getting if you can get it cheap on amazon.

the graham bell one goes into more detail.

It has 6 pages conserning cams for turbo and nitrous engines.
It is an interresting book and it has it place on my shelve right next to the yellow bible.
