Hi
I was just wondering how you would identify a cam.

On mine there is a '295' stamped on the end which goes in to the oil pump. Is there a database which would then tell me what the cam is?

Thanks

Jon

If you have future need there is a thread in the FAQ and Knowlegde section.

It should also have the timing figure stamped onthe end . For example mine had MD266 and under it had 110 which is the timing for a 266 cam.

me neither,

could it be a special?

the LCA is 106 deg for a 266, timing it to 110 is 4 deg retard.

Timing it to 112 is even more retarded...

Hi

Any ideas on what the 295 might mean?

The cam is meant to be a Kent 296.

Thanks

Jon
