has anyone got one of these new redesigned quickshifts from KAD yet? i was toying with the idea of getting a quickshift and this new one has just come and sounds pretty good especially the no lift up for reverse feature.

any views?

I have in the past made my own quickshift simply by shortening the std gearlever length a bit. OK not as flash as the KAD one but the same effect for no money. If you are tall like me then you will have no problems.
Also removing the reverse lock is easy, take the screw on plate off the bottom of the gear selector remote under the car, and grind the sticking up "shark fin" off, hey presto no reverse lock.

yeah i agree with 'skinns46' they do take some getting used to! i kept missing gears and not being able to find the gear!

o.k now though- wouldnt go back to a normal gear change.

that will be the old one, the new ones are apparantley better as there's no need to butcher the old gearstick and you get a cool gear knob and reverse lift collar
