With the topic of diffusers popping up, I managed to get a picture of DTM setup today. Was in the right place at the right time, good old Druids at Brands.
Thought I'd post the pics for those interested. *happy*

The other nice detail I liked, was the marshalls just screwed 2 eye bolts in the roof and just lifted the car.

Trying to get my head around the setup. Looks like the side exhaust gases are diverted to the rear spoiler. Theres an aperture above the diffuser, which must run all the way to the front above the floor.........
Edit...its beyond me how it works...clever bastards

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Fast moving airflow on the lower surface produces low presure regions thus the spoiler is pushed down. F1 cars do the same as to aeroplanes with what is termed blown flight surfaces

If you are traveling at low speed by blasting the aerofoil with fast moving air you can produce greater down force.

Simples.

I understand the theory...but don't understand that aperture above the diffuser. I'm guessing it goes all the way to the splitter?
