http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=313519 the car in white and red is using a 7" wide wheels and a 32 R tyre, and has been for quite a while now, the tyre hasn't fallen of , he hasn't been thrown off the road and died in a fire ball from hell all because he fitted a 165 tyre to a 7" wheel, lol. carl Hope not as im collecting them from Iain next week lol. In all fairness i dont see what the fuss would be,i have an old golf and when you see the tyres the vw lot are stretching, then its time to make a fuss. On 20th Jan, 2011 apbellamy said:

key is to minimise offset of the rim towards the outside ..or ''negative offset'' this is what contributes to the thing flying all over the rd ,once over 120 bhp . Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

I bet those minispeed 10s that sit outside the 8.4" discs make for an interesting drive with decent power. On 20th Jan, 2011 apbellamy said:

was looking at getting 3x4" offset wheels, reckon it would be ok? Wouldn't effect track handling at all? |

...3" in, 4" out? 7" in total width? Using that rim combo would be no problem at 14mm neg offset if it was a set of my wheels, but using them on MB Or Spectrums would result in even more neg offset at near 28mm poss . carl |

I have a full set of 10x9s with Dunlop tyres on them - I can't remember the exact specs of the tyre offhand.
