Help!!!!! Right, I would like to build a mini turbo, i like to go for a copper! Now to be truely honest i havent really got a clue about minis, im not far off finishing my trainning for saab as a mechanic so most of the work i can carry out. But the problem is i dont know where to start and was hoping that u guys out there can show me the way so to speak. I would like to know and need to know as much as posible about how to turbo a mini from where to start to how much power i can get.

well, as turboing a mini is no different to turboing any other car, the first thing i did was read a book about turboing to get an idea of what turboing is all about. I read http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0...7381710-0781244

Then with this knowledge, you'll be able to decide what exactly it is that you want, what power, what you want to use it for etc.

If you just want to buy a metro turbo engine and stick it in a Mini, then there are plenty of well written articles on the net (try turbo phils site http://www.turbo-mini.com/index2.html).

When you get stuck and have a specific question, ask us again and we'll point you in the right direction.
