Ian,
I have just edited your username to AV-R Technologies. If you give me a new email address, I can alter that, too.

From now on you'll need to log in with your current password and AV-R Technologies as your username.

Exciting post, too.

Ian,,,,,

Aren't you meant to be donning a smokers jacket, sat back in a rocking chair, pipe in hand, reading the Times, and only getting upto go to the post office at lunchtime (this of course being the only time folks who still work can go there) in your retirement?

cant tell you how many gearboxes, stripped pinions, crown wheels, transfer gears, stripped SC 2nds 3rds mostly on the race cars

Now, not to but in, but what happened to all the critics when I asked if a 1460 turbo was something that would be good to think about?

I think you would have to go a long way to beat the 1460 especially only running with 10psi!

Proven 200+bhp & Avon Park 05,06,07 Class D 3rd place

That's intereting figs Oli as a normal well sorted 1293 will make around 200 bhp from 1.5 bar boost as well.

Hmmm, to answer am using a combo deep dished pistons and head for the volume I require am not after 200 bhp just stunning all round drivability and hopefully reliability using a T3

It is bad enough putting 150bhp thru the wheels at least this will be on slicks 10" to start with. 19.5" rolling on 13's might have to go that route depending on torque??

Would you not be better off using crap tyres to spare the transmission? I'm assuming it won't be a drag car if you're aiming for driveability
