Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone knew somewhere reliable that I could get a Metro Turbo clutch from? Any places in the North East?

Cheers

Sorry I can't believe I forgot to write this down, its a verto clutch!
I have asked a specialist up here and he is struggling to find one. The story behind this is that I bought a heavy duty clutch from Mini Sport and it's blown up 200 miles later! I'm after someone else who can supply one?

Sorry about that

iirc The 1990 refers to the mini, when they started going injection and had a slightly differnt flywheel etc.

And they stopped making metro turbos in about 1990...

Its a mini block, bored out to 1380. Its a 1994 car.
I fitted the Mini Sport Heavy Duty Clutch, which fitted fine. Until of course it disintergrated in the car! Manufacturers fault I'm told..
The Mini Sport one was for 1275/Turbo cars, another one of similar spec would be best. As long as it's not from Mini Sport! *happy*

If it's only 200 miles and it's a 'manufacturing fault', surely you're entitled to get a gratis replacement, an alternative or your money back from MiniSport - it's your choice as the customer.

Am I missing something here ?

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

No you're not missing anything, but now I have lost my confidence with them if I'm honest. How do I know it won't happen again?!
