Typing on a PDF form??

I was able to do this not to long ago but for some reason i can seem to fill in a form i have to email some one, it's a PDF with text spaces but it just can't type in them.

Any idea around this?

By default a PDF is uneditable, whomever created the forum would have to setup specific user input areas during its creation. If this hasnt been done you wont be able to add them in either without the full Adobe Pro Package.

I've got a PDF converter to take it back to a word doc if it helps

i think cute pdf is free, does the same thing?

Acrobat Distiller will allow you to add text boxes wherever you fancy (similar to the text boxes in Word/ Powerpoint drawing toolbars). If you have Distiller of course...
