Hi, all of the threads i have read said that the best suited sized turbo for the mini is the T2, which is fitted to the R5GTT which is water cooled. How does this T2 differ from the ones fitted to RS Fiestas and Escorts? |

the escorts have T3's, and the T2 on the Fiesta has a 3 bolt fixing pattern so is not suitable On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

i reckon people have said they are no good because they are 'specc'd' for use with diesel engines etc no with petrol engines

I wouldn't worry about using a Turbo off a diesel. My mates used a diesel Turbo for the last 3 years on his Mini, no probs !
