Hi all,

what thread are used on the bolts joining the turbo elbow to the t3 turbo and how long are they?

ive tryed m8 and 5/16th's unc and neither feel like they fit correctly.

M8 but you will need to retap the threaded holes in the turbo exhaust housing for them to "feel right" - just think how many year's corrosion is in there.

For length, just measure the thickness of the elbow at each bolt hole and add 15 - 20mm.

EDIT - I should just add, the fact they are M8 is down to Garett, virtually everyting else on a Mini is imperial (apart from some of the very last ones).

M8, 25mm, 60mm, 80mm lengths should do it
