Hi i currently have a 998cc mini clubman, im tryin to change from hydroelastic to springs and shocks anyone got any idea or know anyone with any ideas lol.

im not 100% sure but i think you will need to change both subframes, there is a difference between hydro and the rubber doughnut subframes i havnt heard of them been retro fitted either way...

it can be done on the cheap, half decent complete subys do go on ebay for naff all... but if you cannot pick them up or dont have the know how your self to do what would be quite a big strip down for a fairly small job it will get expensive..

If you can get a set of dry subframes, then go for that option.
You can convert your wet subframes by taking the displacer out, and flattening the tabs that hold the displacer in. Ive not done this, but done research into it (2 hydro cars).
