I have been having my seal plates and cam addapters re made, so with the machines already set up it was easy to bung some more raw stock in the machine and churn out a few more.

There will be currently three of these kits left out of the five I am having made. However, with such small production runs the machining costs are still higher than they could be, and it is my intention to pass these three kits on with little or no proffit what so ever.

The kits are only suitable for the 16v heads, however, you could adapt at your own risk to fit the 8v heads. Its all to do with the design of the head seal plate, and I really dont think there would be a problem, just a little extra time and patience on your part .

This is a one time offer and will not be available again

The head plate will not be dissimilar to the ones below, the only real difference will be the lack of fixing holes at the very bottom. The main difference with these plates against all others is the way the cam cover overlaps to give a posative seal with a little RTV

With the pricing done, and there is nothing in it for my effort. Small numbers like these just dont gain any reduction in prices to make it worth my while, which is why this is a one off.

The final price, excluding postage is £600. What you get for this is all the nuts and bolts specific to these conversion kits, sprockets, shaft adapters, man size timing belt, belt tensioner.

What is not included are the plates to be welded into the head, and the shaft seals. The reason for this is that these parts are either easily made or easily sought after from the high street motor factors.

I can supply the shaft seals at an extra cost of £8.00 each, a modified waterpump at £25.00 each, and a spacer at £5.00 each to allow the use of the MPi pullies (this will require a standard waterpump/ fan spacer fitting under the waterpump pulley and the alternator or its pulley spacing out 4mm)

All details of these extra parts will be supplied, nothing to be hidden. The water pump is modified so counter sunk screws can be used to clear the timing belt, and one of the supporting ribs removing (as in all conversions) dimensions of this will be supplied so if you feel you can do it yourself, you can. The crank pulley spacer if you need it is a simple washer 39.9x 29.9x4mm

What you will aslo get is a list of all the spare parts and where to find them. I will also do a instalation and set up guide that covers the specific bits of this kit. It will not include anything on the modification of the short engine. That is pretty well covered on various forums. It will not be a build guide.

The finish on the aluminium parts is hard anodise for durabilty, and the adapters made from 304 stainless

Pictures to follow when the parts are back from the anodisers icon_thumleft

I also forgot to mention that as far as I have seen, these are the only kits to keep the original factory location of the auxilary drive pullies. The only exception to this is if you decide to use the MPi pullies where the previously mentioned 4mm spacers are required.

Just to make it a little clearer, the kit includes the head seal plate (excluding the wedge to weld onto the head) the engine seal plate, camshaft adapters, jackshaft adapter, crankshaft spacer, Vernier camshaft sprockets, Jackshaft sprocket, crankshaft sprocket, tensioner, tensioner/ alternator mounting bracket, timing belt and all screws specific to this kit.

I also forgot to mention that the jackshaft will need slight modification by drilling and threading the end of the shaft M10. Again this is an optional item I can do a lobe free jackshaft for £35 but on an exchange basis as cams are not fourth coming. The only difference with any other kit is the M10 threaded hole in the end. If you wish to drill this hole yourself, you can, but I would recommend its done on a lathe

Everything is nearly here. Its funny how when you order something in the UK it takes over three weeks, yet, when you order something from the US it takes a week and the postage is nowhere near as expensive icon_scratch

Just waiting on the tensioner now. I also need to adjust the countersink holes on the tensioner mount. Imperial counter sunk screws have an 82 degree seat, where as Metric have a 90 degree seat. I specificaly asked for the 82 degree seat, but I actualy got a 90 degree seat. They are going back to be fixed, not a big task.

They WILL be ready to go by the end of the week
