I have a pretty hot 1430 with a 2.54 SC Gearset, 1:1 drops, Salisbury LSD and I'm just rebuilding it. Since I'm going to be running 19.5" tyres (10"). I've just whipped the nearly new Semi Helical 4.1 CWP off. Am thinking this is too short.

I see matey doing the SC CWP sets on ebay and am thinking 3.7 for a A/B road blaster.

I gather that SC CWP's wear seriously. The toss up is to either swap my 4.1 for another semi, or buy one of mateys SC ones.

You lot must wear out CWP's. So what's the deal.....

Cheers!

Full Helical or Semi or SC.

LSD I presume as well?

Interested for sure. I'd rather keep the helix angle as low as possible. Is the pinion shagged?

Just a standard helical crown wheel and pinion out of a metro van. It's done about 40k and is fine.

It's attahed to a standard diff atm....
