Apologies if this has been posted before and I’m sure you guys get fed up of answering stuff that has but I’ve been searching with no luck (or I’m just crap at searching) for information on types of turbos used and A/R’s suited to run on mini’s.

The only post I could find really is this http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=3231

however its a bit old and after having a look around and reading posts and people saying how turbos have moved on/advanced it all becomes a bit confusing as to what the best 'general' turbo is to use and i get the feeling there isn't one and depends on engine build which is fine.

now my set up i'm aiming for is a mirage manifold running a T25 wanting to run about 150 bhp. I'll be dealing with the other engine specs later as i need to get my engine out of the car first when the tax runs out 30th Sept then i can see whats in there.

my confusion is how do you guys go about finding out what turbos come on what cars as to look for them on ebay and what A/R size is most efficient etc. Obviously i could get it from mirage which i don't mind but money saved will help it get on the road sooner when i get to that point.

Hope i haven't rambled and made some sense as to what i'm after lol

I used this site a lot. It also had things like drawings of gaskets and things..
