A few hours, I'm sure a man of your calibre will have it sorted before monday. There is nothing that difficult, its just awkward. Lisas has got air con as well which got in the way. The only good thing is that the cambelt doesn't have to come off if I remember right.

I won't embarrass the poor fellow by letting slip that he had a tidy lass in his bed with him, and when she said to him "I am cold" his thoughts were whether to switch on the central heating, or fetch her a jumper.....

i did a mazda 2 on a 55 plate which has this engine in and the cambelt tensioner bolted onto the water pump so had to do belt as well.
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

what makes you think waterpumps fcuked? heaters cold neven though systems bled? turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I have a Renault 2.0HDI timing belt to do, and thought while im at it, i'll do the water pump. Looks like this will be a bit of a bitch too.
