Thinking of selling the mini....whats it worth?

Hey Chaps

Over the past week or so ive been toying with the idea of selling the mini and having a stab at a Westfield or one of the other Lotus 7 style kits.

I cant make my mind up wheteher to sell it or not though! Its a 1 owner (me) Mini and I know i could never get the same thing again. Also i dont really know what sort of price i could pitch it at so if i was to put it up for sale what do you think i should ask?

Spec is as follows....... Rover Classic Cooper Sport 500

Body
Original Sportspack shell in Mint condition only ever been used at the weekends, in fine weather etc. Remote central locking. Finished in Anthracite with Platinum silver roof and door mirrors.

Interior
Have full black and nickel silver leather interior safely stashed for fitting back in when required. (In as new condition). Presently fitted with Cobra Monacos finished in blackrock on tailored subframeswith Sabelt Harnesses. Standard 500 dash (3+3 in turned aluminium) Rover CD player, 500 plaque in glovebox etc.

Engine
Genuine 27000 miles from new. Vmax mpi supercharger kit installed at 22,000 and gbox rebuilt to full straight cut with straight cut drops, central oil pick up etc by Stuart Gurr. Rebored at 25,000 to 1293cc. Hardened and balabnced crank, Conrods lightened, polished and balanced.Omega Forged 18cc pistons. centre main strap, Rob walker stage 3 head giving CR of 8.1:1. SW5i Cam. Swiftune lightened vernier duplex timing gear, MED LD 1:5 Roller rockers.Eaton m45 5th generation supercharger. Custom inlet manifolds. Stainless LCB and exhaust system, Playmini Titanium back box (1 off) Vmax scart charge cooler kit. Custom charger pulley to put the boost where it should be (10psi) Emerald m3dk ECU,LC! wideband lambda. MAP sensor, Inlet air temp sensor, TPS. Fully mapped by Dave WAlker of Emerald. Mocol 13 row oil cooler. 3.1 final drive. 130bhp. Speialist Components engine steady. Minispares additional gearbox stabiliser kit.

Brakes
Wilwood 4 pot alloy calipers, vented discs and alloy
metro drive flanges. Minisport Superfin rear dums. Alloy handbrake quadrants.

Suspension
Spax ltd edition dampers, Red coil spring conversion, Minisport Adjusta Ride Kit, Competition top and bottom shock mounts. Fully polybushed all round. Heavy duty adjustable tie bars. Mini spares 1.5 degree neg camber bottom arms. KAD fully adjustable rear camber brackets..

Wheels/Tyres
Genuine Sportspack with Yoko tyres

Other
Full 500 goodie pack (unopened) Full history including reciepts etc and file of cars history.

Think thats about it so whats it worth? Or do i put it back to standard and sell the lump seperate?

Keep it and start saving. I try never to sell cars, all exept a 1.1 fiesta, and my 2.5 GX Legacy and my peugeot 205 I miss.

Save £20 a week and you'll be able to start one sooner than you think.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I really do want to keep it and the thought of selling it breaks my heart but i feel its almost too good to put on the track and i fancy having a bit of fun with something. Would look to have a couple of cars and maybe one just for the track but whats good fun and cheap?

Will is suppose thats not a bad idea, just a few quid a week and it would soon get there.

thats a very impressive and expensive spec for 130 bananas at a guess id say its worth 5kish but the cars prob worth 4.5k and the engine 2k seperate but that just a guess.

you could get a scooby for about £900 or a v8 lexus ls400 for £310 or a saab 9000 for £450ish. if your after a se7en then a westfield seight ( se7en with a v8) would be my choice.
