I'm just checking that my new inlet manifold is going to clear the bulkhead in the Miglia. It's close, as it is intended to be, but I just want to make sure it is not too close.

Can anyone confirm that the top of the 1275 block is, more or less, the same height as the cross member? I'm using the clutch master mounting hole as the reference point.

It looks like it is on the wifes 35, but it's difficult to be certain with all the gubbins in the way.

Thanks Joey.

Actually assuming that the steady is level, then that does seem to confirm my assumption.

I've go about 25mm clearance, so should be OK.
