hi all,

obviously with the turbo conversion looming, which seems like the logical step forward, and obviously one quite a few people seem to be taking. i want to do something completely radical with the bodywork. and being a huge fan of group B rallying as a whole, ( i own a replica rs1700t also) have decided that i want to graft on a bodykit from a metro 6r4. but i'm not sure how doable this is, obvioully i know it is going to involve a lot of chopping about, just to get it to sit over the shell, but i think the end result will look awesome, and be well worth the hassle.

what do you guys think? doable?

cheers guys,

those 2 on ebay look worth a crack. i will have a word to see what they are like. theres no point in buying a new one if im going to chop it up. plus it comes in at over a grand.

i had heard that about the autofashion kits, but im not really looking at those anyway as i want something completely different

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

no offense but i wouldnt even bother, the mini and metro are 2 completely different shaped cars and it is inevitable that its going to look like you've crashed it into a stone wall, when then the truth is youve just taken it out of the garage for the first time

if you want a 6r4 then go and buy a metro turbo and stick the kit on it, if you want a mini then put a mini specific kit on it if you really must

or do both because with all the money you will spend on several bodykits after getting it wrong plus all the filler you will spend a fortune
