The way I see it, if a car is a solid original car and potentially rare, then it should be kept that way. But if it's a boring city or something that needs a lot of work to get it back to original spec/condition then it's fair game for modification. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

It wouldnt be too hard to attatch new seams, but its a prime opportunity to make it into a MiniSprint which wouldnt have seams

Where do you live? As I'm in the U.S., so it would be really expensive to post it to the U.K. Plus, I've got some money invested into it already in way of gear box and steering, so I would want atleast that much back.

Ask yourself this how many 1963 shells are there in the US? Not many I would wager. I have seen plenty of seamless cars from that period and they all look bloody smart. If you rebuild it into a road going car you will be glad you never turned to the dark side. Own the day
