Well guys, I never thought the day would come when I’d be doing this but I am offering for sale my K headed motor.

I’m going to offer it to you all as a complete unit first, then if I don’t have any interest then I’ll break it.

Spec as follows:

K100RS 16v cylinder head converted to suit mini block.
1293cc Block converted to suit the cylinder head.
21253 pistons with valve cutouts (big enough for sc’s sprint cams)
11:1 Compression ratio
Polished cam cover
34mm Throttle Bodies
SC 34mm Ram pipes to suit the above.
Rebuilt Standard Gearbox with hardened diff pin. 3.44:1 CWP
MED Ultralight Flywheel with Uprated friction plate and orange diaphragm
My own pulleys and conversion kit – top pulleys are adjustable.
SC Typhoon ECU with preloaded base map to suit engine spec.
SC Road spec wiring loom
SC Trigger Wheel kit
SC K Exhaust manifold
RC40 exhaust modded to fit (was only a 1 ¾” modded to 1 7/8”)
Fuel Pressure regulator
SC Water outlet and thermostat
SPI fuel tank with big Toyota Fuel Pump (good for 5 bar)

That’s most of what I can think of at the moment and I’ll add more if I think of anything.

Only for sale due to me buying a Mk1 Metro Turbo off JohnK and I would get bludgeoned if I was to fit this into it!!! So standard is the way forward, just gotta remember how to adjust tappets!!! Its been a long time.

This package is basically all you would need to get a K engine working and in your car.
Looking for offers around £3k.
Engine is based at home at Wymondham, Norfolk.

The engine has done approx 6 miles since build and all the bugs have been ironed out, rusty shell forces sale!

I've only decided to sell so I can concentrate on the metty turbo. Trying to keep it all intact instead of tearing it out to go in a mini!

And the way I look at it is that I can always throw another one together now I know all the tweaks should I get bored with the metty!

Put it in the Metro! Have a first!

Just keep the old enginge so it can be put back to factory.

Nah, i have an originality agreement with the previous owner to keep it standard.

Thats what i was looking to do until i came across the Turbo! I was after a beige 2 door base model metro to shove it in with national trust stickers and all.

I undersandt that, there's only about 35 MK 1 metro turbos left.

I know where there's another in need of an engine though....

And how many in left hookers? Can't be many!!

Not many at all I would expect. Still, at least I have a rearer metro than that

What type pistons are fitted to the engine mate?

Do it right the first time and make it mint!!!!!!
