What do you reckon its worth?

I'm in two minds about whether to sell my engine or not, and was just wondering what you guys thought it was worth, so that I can decide what I want to do with it.

Spec is as follows:

MED 1293cc with 2 bolt centre main strap, drilled for 11 stud head
Omega 15cc pistons
Hardened & balanced crank
Rods balanced end over end, fitted with ARP bolts
ACL bearings
Ultralite flywheel & backplate
Paddle clutch (I think its an Alcon) with grey cover
MED T2 cam
Duplex timing gear
MED 11 stud turbo head, 29.5cc chambers, 36mm inlet, 30mm exhaust, stainless plasma nitrided valves, waisted stems, 3 angle valve seats, silicon bronze guides, double valve springs
MED Gold 1.5 roller tip rockers
ARP head studs
Cometic triple layer steel headgasket
Rebuilt Metro Turbo gearbox (about 800 miles on it)
4 Pin Diff, 2.95 final drive
1:1 straight cut drops


I think thats about it - the engine was assembled last April, and has done no more than 3,500 miles, and has probably had 6 oil changes in that time (on top of the running in period oil changes). I've run the engine at 18 PSi boost no problem, and I'm in no doubt whatsoever that it'll take more. The majority of that mileage has been on the motorway going to shows. If I do sell it, it won't include any manifolds, turbo, carb or any other ancillaries etc...

So what do you guys reckon this would sell for? Also, in addition, how much do you reckon its worth without the 'box, diff and straight cut drops?

Its got all the right bits in so should go for good money- especially seeing as what knackered "metro turbo" engines on ebay go for.

If you included an old t3 turbo etc with it I reckon you would get top money.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

you would get more if you split it, still doubt you would hit 2k though, see iain's mig spit threat 80% of it went in half hour or so lol
