Has anybody replaced the selector rods with something lighter? I picked one up the other day and was surprised how heavy it was. Added to that on the TT we use allegro rods as they are longer and move the stick back and you get a heavy piece of kit. What about an ally or PTFE rod?

Yes, Aluminum rode for and aft on the twinnie and a TI tube on the Don,

alu tube on mine with steel insert in the ends for the roll pins, will change the inserts for ti at some point

where could I go about getting an alloy rod to suit my KAD internal linkage kit? it's got a standard thread one end, and a reverse thread on the other end..... Mr. Prawn, the friendly Crustacean- slowly making steps towards forced induction. |

i guess you wuld have t find a mate with a lathe prawn, there wont be anythng off the shelf to suit im afraid "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"
