It's not out yet Chris.

MJ2 is still in the development stages. However would be nice to try when its going.

As per the other thread, onboard coil (or coilpack) drivers.

The way forward IMHO - EDIS is history......

But it's there in Megasquirt already anyway if you just want to buy a partial kit and build it for ignition only.

Sorry, yes, for COP or any form of individual coil per cylinder, yes.

But for a coilpack, Megasquirt built with internal ignitor (coil drive) chips, has to be a much better solution than the EDIS systems.

None of the alternatives could do individual coils (independantly) without a cam sensor anyway - without the sensor, they would have to fire two coils at the same time.

I would have thought that it could be set up with wasted spark coils and without a cam sensor, but they seem to suggest that you need 2 VR sensor inputs, crank and cam.
