i have got a 1275 standard turbo engine and i want lots of low down power what camshaft would give me the best torque

yeah done a search and found out alot bout that but is there a camshaft that comes in lower not bothered can the overal bhp i just want the rolling road print out of torque to go up very fast more for 0-60 |

I would say the standard turbo cam or maybe an MG metro cam. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

If it's standard netro turbo, then you will get no more low down torque by changing the cam. all upgrades will produce more power, this is generally to the detrimemt of boost threshold (but not always).

I wonder if an SW5 would produce the goods in a low-ish boost high cr engine? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

10psi tops. really just to see if i can get the thing going with mj etc. tis a long term project probs wont see it going anywhere for the next coiuple of years! have you seen my build thread? has taken me about 2-3 years to get that far. you are right, need to get a move on! |

not to keen on changing the charger because i will have to change the oil feed and down pipe and thats all new gear what else could i do? |

Has anyone actually tried this 266 cam for turbo use? Because I keep seeing it mentioned, but no one seems to have tried it, and TBH looking at the numbers I'm not convinced at all.
