There was a service today at St Pauls for all the service men and women killed in Iraq, the BBC said it was the war ending in 2009 and to honour the soldiers.

I dont understand how its ended?
I dont understand how Blair and other politicians of the time can be so brasen in going to the service.
I dont understand how senior military can attend the service when they send soldiers in with aluminium landrovers as protection.

I am proud to be british but also ashamed to be british with hippocrete like these running our armed forces and country

iraq and afghan are 2 separate war zones to my knowledge we pulled out of iraq completely now, a friend of mine is in the last Royal Engineers squadron to leave iraq

however im not defending them, our guys and my friends dont have anywhere near the equipment they need for their own protection never mind for the tasks they have to go out and do

Politicians of our time don't have millitary experience...perhaps thats the reason? As long as their polictical careers are okay and keeping allies sweet, they are not bothered.
