Hi, fired up the car today and my fuel pressure regulator sounded odd.. a bit like a pump or a gulping sound, any ideas why this could be and how to remedy it?

It coud be the pressure line from the plenum is split. With the car at idle it will be in negative pressure so will be drawing air in and making a weird noise On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

itll be air in the system :) makes a weerd sound a mix between gulping and chirping. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Air. The DON will do this if if gets low on fuel.

mine does it if i leave my pump running. I think its the diaphragm bouncing. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
